Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Prestigious 150th film, ‘Khaidi No 150’ is all set for a grand release on January, 11th as Sankranthi Special. Already the advance booking of the movie is going on at full swing and the response is just terrific. On the first day, the movie is almost full in releasing in all the 90% of the theaters in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. However there is a sentiment haunting in Mega fans. Way back in 2001, Chiranjeevi’s ‘Mrugaraju’ also released on January, 11th and went on to become a miserable flop. For that Sankranthi, Chiranjeevi locked horns with Balayya at Sankranthi Box-office and the latter’s ‘Narasimha Naidu’ emerged as an industry hit. Mega fans are hoping that things will be the other way this time.

The movie which is the comeback project for the Megastar is creating tremendous hype in the trade circles. The makers of this prestigious project are looking at a Pre-Release Business of a whopping Rs.103 Crore including all. This is the highest Pre-Release Business of any Senior Hero till date and is even on par with the star heroes of current generation. The theatrical trailer of the movie got released last night and is shattering all the records in terms of Youtube views.

‘Khaidi No 150’ is the official re-make of Tamil Blockbuster, ‘Kaththi’. The Censor works of the movie are recently completed and the movie received ‘U/A’ certificate without any cuts. ‘Khaidi No 150’ will be the first of Sankranthi releases. The movie will take on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Landmark 100th film, ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ and Sharwanand’s ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’ at Sankranthi Box-office. The promotions of the movie are progressing at a brisk pace. There is a mind boggling attendance for the Pre-Release event of the movie that happened the other day.
