Devi Sri Prasad is coming with scintillating tracks in the film. Let us see what stylish impression he made on his fans and movie lovers in general.
Story Line
MLA Varadarajulu (Kota Srinivasa Rao) hatches a master plan along with Bittu (Sonu Sood) to rob a Coperative Bank which has got Rs 1500 deposits from public. However they accidentally meets Ravi( Allu Arjun) who happen to enter the car Bittu was friving. Ravi bumps on them when he was on his way to a pub to delight his father Narayana Murthy(Tanikella Bharani) turning ten thousand rupees to one lakh in two minutes. Ravi in the turn of events meets bespectacled and shy Madhu (Ileana) whom he transforms into a gorgeous beauty after starting loving her. How life changes for Ravi who leads a life of a 'Julaayi', Madhu and Bittu forms the interesting point in the story.
Star Shine
Allu Arjun lived up to his reputation as a stylish star and his stunts and dances are exhilerating. His used his own powerful mannerisms bringing power to puch dialouges in the film. Bunny proved once again that he is the best dancer in tollywood. Goan Beauty Ileana bought in variations in deglamor role wearing spects and then suddenly transforming to a attractive girl to mesmerise all. There is no much scope for her to bring forth her acting talent but she did not disappoint with in her comeback film. However some may feel that it will be better if she puts in a little bit of weight. Sonu Sood's role is tailor made for him. Rajendra Prasad as ACP Sitaram showed what a valuable asset hs is in the film. He with his mannerisms played the support role to Allu Arjun as the film revolved around both of them. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji exceled in their roles. Comedy track of MS.Narayana and Brahmanandam is ok.
Analysis
Trivikram's stamp is noticed on 'Julaayi' as from the starting of the film his mark of punch dialogues are seen in the film. The spontaniety of the dialogues got good response from viewers. First half started off well with the robbery scene and the tempo dropped a bit with story moving to Hyderabad with some romantic scenes. It could have been pictured in a more interesting manner. The tempo of the film always reached its peak whenever Sonu Sood and Allu Arjun clashed with eachother and dropped eventually. Trivikram should have taken care about it. Second half dragged a bit in the middle of it and the ending with Sonu Sood's surrendering tamely may not appeal to all. Songs some times acted as speed breakers breaking the tempo of the film when ever viewers connected themselves with the story. All in all the story defies logic with law enforcing authorities shown like bunch of jokers headed by Rajendra Prasad.
Technicals
Production values of Haarika Haasini films are of high standard. Devi Sri Prasad gave scintillating music for the film and he gets thumbsup for his scores. Pravin Pudi should have sharpened his editing scissors in the second half. Cinematography by Chota K Naidu and Shyam K.Naidu is appealing while choreography lives up the expectation.
Final Talk
Allu Arjun as 'Julaayi' takes his fans on a jolly ride but ordinary movie lovers may not be able to cacth his pace.
