Actress Tapsee says Tollywood yesteryear actress and Lady Amitabh Bachchan Vijayshanthi is her inspiration and wants to act more in action movies like Vijayshanthi. In an interview with a Tamil Channel she said Vijayshanthi is having same popularity in Tamil Nadu which she is having in Andhra Pradesh. But some of them in the industry commented that let Tapsee first learn how to act then let her do action movies for which she defended by saying that there is nothing wrong in taking Vijayshanthi as her inspiration she is the only actress who has challenged hero’s in the industry by her action movies. She now becomes the fan of Vijayshanthi after watching her action movies. Currently Tapsee is busy with two Telugu movies ‘Gundello Godhari, and Shadow’, two Tamil one Kannada and one Hindi movie.
