It is learnt that Industrialist Ashwin tied a knot with Rajinikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth in early hours this morning (September 3rd) at the Rani Meyammai Hall in Chennai. The wedding was attended by high-profile people like Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, Telegu star and Praja Rajyam President Cheeranjeevi, Kamal Haasan, actor Surya with wife Jyothika, Mohan Babu, Kamal Haasan and Gauthami, Suhasini and Mani Ratnam, Bhagyaraj and Poornima, Radhika and Sarath Kumar, K Balachander, Vaiko, and Vijayakumar and family.

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who will be seen with Rajinikanth in mega-budget 'Robot', attended the engagement last night along with husband Abhishek Bachan. Rajini himself supervised all the arrangements for the wedding. According to reports, the actor has gifted a brand new apartment to Soundarya, who is the CEO of Ochre Productions.
