Khajal Agrawal, who made her entry into Tollywood industry in the year 2004 with Teja’s “Lakshmi Kalyam” and became a top heroine in Short span. She acted many films in Telugu and Tamil. She also nominated as best actress in Film Fare.  Now, her upcoming film “Brindavanam” is going to reelase on tomorrow here is an exclusive chit chat by myfirstshow team with this busy actress.    

Myfirstshow : What is your back ground? 

Khajal : I was born on June 19th 1985 in Mumbai and brought up in Mumbai itself, My father Suman Agarwal is a business man and mother Vinay Agarwal is a house wife. I completed my studies in Mumbai, I did my Bachelors in Mass Media and I started my modeling career in my college days and in my final year of Degree I got a chance to work for “Lakshmi Kalyanam” and after that I didn’t look back about career.

Myfirstshow : Tell us about your film journey? And your first break up film?

Khajal : As I told you that during my studies I got a chance to act as heroine in Teja’ s “Lakshmi Kalyanam” opposite with hero Kalyan ram, that was my debut film in the industry. After acted in many Tamil and Telugu films like “Chandamama” (Telugu),  “Pourudu”(Telugu), “Pazhani” (Tamil), “Aatadista” (Telugu), “Saroja”(Tamil), “Bommalattam” (Tamil), “Modhi Vilayadu” (Tamil), “Magadheera”(Telugu), “Arya 2” (Telugu), “Om Shanti” (Telugu), “Darling”(Telugu), “Naan Mahaan” (Tamil) and now coming up with Telugu film “Brindavanam”.

Coming to my break up film in Telugu industry I recognized as heroine through “Chandamama” but my break up film was “Magadheera” where I was Nominated for Filmfare Best Telugu Actress for the character in this film. In Tamil my break up film was “Pazhani”.

Myfirstshow : What do you feel the difference between Kollywood and Tollywood?

Khajal : I don’t want to talk much about the difference between the both Kollywood and Tollywood because the feel only the difference is language.  But, language is not a barrier for me in both the industries. I say the similarities not the difference, I think both the industries has wonderful technicians, fabulous stories, working style, punctuality, hard work, determination are awesome and both are highly professional industries. And beside that Tamil audiences like more realistic films and Telugu audiences like Cinematic stories (on Screen Sort of Stories).  

Myfirstshow : Tell us about your upcoming film “Brindavanam”?   

Khajal : “Brindavanam” is total entertainer which consist all sort of emotions like happy, sad, etc. It consists of comedy, romance, action, mass, sentiment and every thing. It means one slice on all relationship. I think “Brindavanam” is the one film where one in the family enjoys without any age limits.

Myfirstshow : Could you tell us about your role in “Brindavanam”?

Khajal :  I played the character of Bhoomi in this film, who is very soft spoken girl always shy and it’s a most challenging character which demands a performance. I don’t have too many dialogues in this film, I mean I have few dialogues because the girl is very shy so she can’t speak her mind out and all her emotions and feeling are mutated only with her expressions only. I think it was more difficult to express your feeling without dialogues and I quite enjoyed that. 

Myfirstshow : How much you feel comfort with your co stars NTR and Samantha?

Khajal : It was wonderful working with NTR and Samantha, Coming to NTR he is highly professional, co-operative, friendly, dedicated and of course I don’t need to mean his fabulous dancing skills.

Samantha is a very hard working girl and I wish her all the best for her future. 

Myfirstshow : What is the difference between your pervious characters and present roel in “Brindavanam”?

Khajal : In my previous characters I am very bubbly with enough dialogues, but coming to “Brindavanam” its completely different because performance demands a lot than dialogues, like we need to express all our emotions with expression only. I think it was totally different from my previous characters.   

Myfirstshow : Do you feel that your sister will become a competitor for you?

Khajal : I hope so, I would love to have some competition with in the house and I hope my sister actually  be clean and goes head with in the competition.

Myfirstshow : Do you want to act in Lady oriented films?

Khajal : I am open to act in any kind of movies and I love to do challenging characters. If any such kind of Lady oriented scripts will comes then I will definitely do it. 

Myfirstshow : What are your future plans?

Khajal :  I didn’t plan anything and I am busy with some films. Currently I am shooting for three movies, like Nagachaintanya’s film is on the floor under direction of Ajay Bhuyan, another movie with Prabhas under direction of Dasarath, “Meerupu” with Ram Charan Teja under the direction of Dharani and I am going to be start “Veera” with Ravi Teja soon.
