Ad film maker, Artist, Story Writer, Director and Producer Ravi Babu is all set to release his latest film “Manasara”. It’s a love story which showed with all debut actors in different technique. This film is set to hit the theatres on tomorrow. Here is an exclusive chit chat with him by myfirstshow team.

Myfirstshow : Where you are born and brought up? What’s your education?

Ravi Babu : I was born and brought up in Chennai, I did my schooling in there it self (Chennai), I completed my Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Symbosis, Pune. Later on I did a lot of Cinematography courses in United States (US). Finally I settled as Director, Actor, Writer and Producer in Tollywood Industry.

Myfirstshow : Could you tell us about your film journey?

Ravi Babu : Basically I am from cinema family, my father Chalapathi Rao is a great actor and he did many films. From my childhood, I am interested in films, not in acting that’s why I did cinematography course. After completion of my studies, I started my career as an Ad Film maker, I did many Ads for Multi National Companies. Default, one day I got a chance to act, initially I am not good at acting later on improved myself to be better not best actor. Then I decided to direct my own film and I started working on it. Then after all you knew about my film journey.

Myfirstshow : What is your upcoming film “Manasara” actually mean for?

Ravi Babu : “Manasara” is an esthetical love story which is totally based on Kerala backdrop. It is general love story between a Kerala girl and Telugu boy. The guy gets stuck in Kerala because he loves the girl. The girl comes with emotional and personal baggage. This film totally based on intense care love of two which showcased in a different manner, the specialization of this film is only Kerala and I think every one can feel the difference from normal love stories.

Myfirstshow : Your pervious “Nachavule” is also a love story and this film is also love story? What is the difference between them or they are alike?

Ravi Babu : No, “Nachavule” is a love story which is shown in the backdrop of Hyderabad, it was totally picturised in inner part of Hyderabad and it’s a story of two unmatured persons. But, coming to this film “Manasara”  is picturised in the backdrop of Kerala with some different concept. We showed that difference clearly in this film.

Myfirstshow : Do you acted in “Manasara”?

Ravi Babu : No, I have not acted in this film. I did’nt find any character which is suitable for me.

Myfirstshow : How is like working with new comers Vikram and Sri Divya?

Ravi Babu : It was a fun and tough experience working with new comers .Vikram has no experience and he got himself trained in a film institute. Sri Divya did TV serials in the past. I have to undo all the things. Vikram learnt at film school and I also had to undo all the timings. Sri Divya acquired  acting skill from  TV serials. But, their quite thrilling experiences like my thriller films.

Myfirstshow : What you want to show yourself, as an actor, director, writer or producer? 

Ravi Babu : See, I love to be an all rounder, I like all things to be, and I love to be an Actor, Director, Writer and Producer. As I told you earlier my entry as an actor was default and I did’nt aim to that.  But, it helped me a lot in my directing career.

Myfirstshow : What type of audience do you targeted with “Manasara”?

Ravi Babu : “Manasara” is completely a family entertainer with the concept of love in Kerala backdrop. I did’nt target any kind of audience and just I made one more entertainer to entertain all set of audience.

Myfirstshow : What are your future plans?

Ravi Babu : I don’t known where my journey will take, till now I didn’t plan yet, if any script with different concept will attract, then I will definitely do it.
