Kamna Jethmalani is one of the upcoming heroines in Telugu and Tamil industry. She debuted in 2005 with the Telugu film “Premikulu” and had her first commercial success with her third feature film “Ranam”. Subsequently, she played lead female roles in a number of Telugu films, while also debuting and appearing in Tamil and Kannada films. Her upcoming film “Kathi Kantha Rao” is all set release on tomorrow here is any exclusive interview with her by myfirstshow team... 

Myfirstshow : Cloud you tell us about your back ground?

Kamna : I was born on December 10th,1985 in Mumbai, I brought there only. I completed my schooling and college in Mumbai itself. I dint my Bachelors in Textile Designing in Mumbai. After completion of studies I entered in to films.

Myfirstshow : First of all Advances wishes “Many More Happy Returns of the day”. What are your birthday plans?

Kamna : Thank you, Tomorrow is really a birthday for me because I am so excited about the release on “Kathi Kantha Rao”. I think that audience will praise this comedy entertainer. Coming to my birthday plans, nothing special general I will celebrate with my family members.  

Myfirstshow : How you started your career in film industry?

Kamna : Actually it’s been a long way, my goal to become a Fashion designer that’s why I did Textile designing course, fate have some thing else for me. I participated in college festivals, fashion shows and in all cultural activities and that’s how I selected for Miss Mumbai in 2004. In following that I did one Ad film which gave me world wide recognition that’s how I noticed and I got a chance to enter into Tollywood. Later on I did many film and you all known about my journey from there. 

Myfirstshow : Do you interested in Acting or fashion designing?

Kamna : I told you earlier that by fate I got a chance to act, I never thought the acting will became my main stream because I am from none film background and I dint have any idea about it and totally without any experience. But, I am interested to work for this glamour industry and either it might be by acting or else like as fashion designer. One thing finally I want to agree that initially I dint have any interest to act but later on I started love acting and present I am crazy about acting and all together it became as part of my life.

Myfirstshow : How you feel working for one more entertainers “Kathi Kantha Rao”?

Kamna : I am very happy to be a part of this comedy entertainer. It’s releasing on tomorrow and as usual I am damp nervous. I hope that this film will definitely do well and audiences will accept.

Myfirstshow : What are you all about in “Kathi Kantha Rao”?

Kamna : I played a role called ‘Ratna’, daughter of ‘Kota Srinivasa Rao’ who is a president in a village. He loves his daughter Ratna a lot, he stays in the village and I live in the city. My character is very storng in this film, I am very Independent, Strong, Matured girl. Totally I played as homely girl in all scenes but I showcased very glamours in all songs all.

Myfirstshow : How you feel working with Allari Naresh for second time?

Kamna : Yes, previously I worked with Allari Naresh for “Bendu Apparao R.M.P” and it’s the second film for me with Naresh. Apart from good actor he is a good human being. He is very friendly, helpful, and motivative. It’s my blessing to work him for second time and I am very lucky to be a co-star for such a great person. I wish him all the best for his future.

Myfirstshow : What do you feel the difference between Tollywood and Kollywood?

Kamna : Not many difference so far, in Tamil Film industry they make movies in realistic manner, their movies are totally related to their real life situations and backdrops, probably their film are shown in village backdrop, Tamil films shows there kind of nativity, when I am acting the Tamil films I need to wear half Sarees, where as Telugu Films are gone into glamours, they accept Bollywood kind of stories, stars and their kind of nature. Overall the both the industries have their own kind of individuality and creative.

Myfirstshow : Are you interested to cat in Bollywood?

Kamna : Yes, if I get a chance I will definitely do it. See, as an artist I am open to all languages and I love to do films in any language. If the script is good I will definitely do in any language.

Myfirstshow : What are your future projects?

Kamna : I am nervous with “Kathi Kantha Rao” release. So, far I dint signed any movies and I am listening to some stories which are in initial stage they are not finalized yet. If every thing finalized I will let you know.
