Myfirstshow: Could Tell Us About Your Background?

Ajay: Basically I am an Engneerier From IIT, Delhi. Then I did my MBA In IIM, Banglore. After that I worked for 2 years In "TOPONE Gamble", Singapore and then I made enough money for film school,MIU. I finished my graduation there and then I worked as Film assistant director for a film Called "Inside Men" in Bollywood. Later I entered Tollywood and worked with Mr.suresh Babu for film Tulasi as a Production Desginer and I made a film "Housefull" which unfortunately didn't release. But luckily Mr. Nagarjuna sir  offrered me to make a story for his son. 

Myfirstshow: Could you tell about the exact work of  Production Designer?

Ajay: In Tollywood they don't understand what is production design. It is basically getting uniform look to the film like sets,cloths etc which have to go with mood and the story. If some had done sets and somebody had done costumes, they dont talk at all and hence it won't get connected to the story.  

Myfirstshow: Is it a different department?

Ajay: yes it is a different department if one said to wear pink and if they were wearing green they first make up as they go and act. There is no thought behind why they should wear this certain costume and why the sets are like this. Production designer take care of all of this. 

Myfirstshow: Actually your aim is to be a production designer or a director?

Ajay: My aim is to be director only. But when i went to Mr. suresh babu, he said "why don't you assist somebody else?". But when i saw assistant director work basically, they are like  peons and like boys running around them. I don't require all that because I all ready went to film schools. So he asked me, "you are interested in anything else?". I am very interested in art and costumes and I said I am very good at that.

Myfirstshow: What is the story of "DHADA " I mean exactly the theme of DHADA ?

Ajay: For me DHADA  means  fear and  excitement and what is going to happen next like suspense. What is going to happen next, scared in heart.

Myfirstshow: It is a kind of  thriller (or) something else?

Ajay: It is a kind of thriller and DHADA also means fear so in this we have a unique track where hero and villan don't meet at climax. So I can't reveal  too much of story but I can say it's fear .

Myfirstshow: The theme of story is  thriller is'nt it sir?

Ajay: Ya it's a thriller, romantic thriller. And every scene is made in such a way that some fact in it and so that there is DHADA for you . 

Myfirstshow: Why you took NAGACHAITANYA as the hero as his previous movies is completely love story and your's  is completely different?

Ajay: Ya, I want to do something selfish thing and to do something different and exciting which changes the image of some people . Thats more exciting than other films which follow the same old path like a love story and so i went to do something exciting and luckily he agreed  to it and he did a great job. 

Actually this is the hatrik movie to sir Naga chaitanya. All are expecting as it will reach like SIVA in the career of NAGARJUNA

Ajay: I too hope so because Mr.Nagarjuna garu and his father are telling me like this, that i should  do well .So i hope it does well. We are hoping that it will be on siva.

Myfirstshow: How you are feeling to work with your production department like your producer?

Ajay: My producer is one of the best guy I met in my life. When I met him I told him the story and he looked like a typical producer.

so I was realy scared that whether he liked it or not when I told him the story. But he Immediately accepted it. It was very surprising and he is a sweetheart. when I say that, "sir scene is going to cost this much,so should I cut down the scene little bit?" He used to say,"No what you wrote you should do that, I dont care about money."
