MyFirstshow: Could you tell us about your background?

Santhosh Srinivas: I was born and brought up in Vishakhapatnam. I completed my schooling and graduation in Vishakhapatnam. Coming to my family background we are four brothers and only one sister, I am the first person who entered into the film industry and my siblings are settled in different fields.

MyFirstshow:  Why you chosen your career in Film industry?

Santhosh Srinivas: If I tell you the actual fact no one believes, it's my childhood dream. When I am in seventh class Istarted dreaming to becoming a director.

MyFirstshow: How you started your film career?

Santhosh Srinivas:  Actually I joined in Chennai as an assistant for Chalapathi garu and worked with him for couple of years. I worked for film Devi, I worked as Cinematographer for the film Katharnak and final I fulfilled my dream with my upcoming film "Kandireega".

MyFirstshow:  Are you interested in cinematography or else for becoming a director only you started your career as cinematographer?

Santhosh Srinivas:  To be frank my intention in not become a cinematographer. When I entered in film industry that I came to know that director should have knowledge in all departments especially in Cinematography. So I started my career as cinematographer. I am not interested to become a camera man but got offers in that field and I continued till now.

MyFirstshow: What is the theme of "Kandireega"?  or What exactly "Kandireega" means"?

Santhosh Srinivas:  "Kandhareega" is completely an entertainer, when watching this film youth can visualize themselves in Ram's character. It's fully an entertainer and not only youth everyone enjoy this film.

MyFirstshow:  Why you chosen Ram as Hero for this film?

Santhosh Srinivas: Ram is one of the energetic heroes in present trend. After watching "Ready" I felt that Ram is apt for this character and he also done this film beyond the expectations. He performed extraordinarily in this film and our coordination is awesome. He is very friendly and hardworker.

MyFirstshow: In future also do you want to give entertainment type of scripts are else you want try any different?

Santhosh Srinivas: I love doing commercial entertainments with emotions and family sentiments. I am interested to do completely Tollywood (Pacca Telugu) type of films, I mean family emotional dramas. But actually I have my dream project where I would like to do after doing four or five my films.

MyFirstshow: Could you tell us about your relationship with this film producer Mr.Bellamkonda Suresh?

(Or) Tell us about the relationship with the production house?

Santhosh Srinivas: There are no words to tell about the co-operation of our production house, especially our producer Bellamkonda Suresh. He didn't get compromise in any kind of aspect to make this film. He has given full freedom to make this film in the way what I want show. I am very thankful to him.
