All India strike by exhibitors across the country had been called off after an assurance from Central Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee that he would be looking into the matter and address their problems. Film Federation of India on behalf of cinema associations had given a one day strike call demanding increased service tax withdrawal on film industry. FFI will be deciding on future course of action on the issue.
