Behind the scenes
Naga Chaitanya, Manjima Mohan’s Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo directed by Gautam Menon finally hit the screens in a grand manner today across the glope. Let us see what impact the film made on movie lovers whose release has been delayed on numerous occasions.
Happy go lucky guy Chinna (Naga Chaitanya) enjoys life passing time with is loving family and friends like Mahesh (Satish Krishnan) in Visakhapatnam. He gets attracted towards his sister’s college friend Leela Satyamurthy (Manjima Mohan) . Leela too falls for him when they go on a road trip on bike without informing anyone. But their life will be in for a sudden surprises. To findout more about it enjoy Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo on silver screen.
Naga Chaitanya attracted as lover boy with his expressions and looks. He tried his best to attract as action hero. One gets an impression that he should work on his expressions in the emotional scenes. His dialogue delivery is good and comedy timing entertained all. Manjima Mohan on debut performed well and also attracted with her looks. Satish Krishnan who acted as Naga Chaitanya’s friend attracted with his comedy. Baba Sehgal surprises as a villain and he performed well in his role. Others played their roles accordingly.
The moment Gautam Menon, Naga Chaitanya came together along with Rahman, expectations increased bringing back memories of their blockbuster film Ye Maya Chesave. The film starts off on a promising note taking movie lovers to a romantic journey with Naga Chaitanya and Manjima stealing the hearts. Melodious songs come in between with little bit of drags first half ends with sudden twist.
Movie lovers feel happy till first half expecting romance reach newlevel as nothing much happened in the first half except for few scenes. In the second half film turns into completely serious mode with romance vanishing from screens. After slow first half, things are hurried in a serious second half, distracting the viewers. Climax of the film looked silly and smacks of logic. Over all the film’s romantic flight takes off smoothly and reaches sky high in the first half but develops technical snag and crashes in the second half.
First half floors youngsters but second half tests their patience and it is vice versa to some extent with the masses. Over all Gautam Menon with his confusing approach, story, direction and screenplay aleniated A,B,C centres.
Rahman created magic with his melodious tunes. He mesmerised movie lovers especially genex and youngsters with his lovely tunes. However songs placement tested the patience as most of the songs come in the first half. His bagkground score made good impact elevating the scenes. Cinematography of Dan Macarthur beautified the film capturing the beautiful exotic locations of Kerala and Kanyakumari. Editing of Antony is crispy but few scenes dragged. Dialogues are ok and stunts are fine. Production values are grand.
Sahasam Swaga Sagipo just sparkles but fails to set screens on fire.
