Satakarni experiencing overseas scares?

Natasimha Balakrishna’s 100th film Gautami Putra Satakarni completed its censor formalities couple of hours back and is racing for grand release across the world. Censor Board passed the film with U/A certificate clearing the film’s spectacular release on Jan 12,2017 offering sankranti treat to movie lovers. Not only the fans of Balakrishna but also movie lovers and all industry celebrities are showing keen interest on the film. It is a known fact that CMs of Telugu states,Telangana CM KCR and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu showed personal interest to watch the film ahead of the release.

Balakrishna along with director Krish left no stone unturned and the filmmakers roped in Hollywood technicians and shot the film in a never seen before manner in the exotic and beautiful locations of Morocco, Georgia, Madhya Pradesh and Hyderabad. Balakrishna has taken huge risks refusing the use of body double and even survived two fatal falls while riding the horse in Morocco and Georgia. Already the film’s first look, teaser and trailer generated tremendous impact on movie lovers.

When everyone started their plans to celebrate sankranti with Satakarni, shocking news is comingout that Satakarni is experiencing overseas scares. Film’s original distributor backed off at the last minute and a relatively new one entered the scene. From then on film is changing hands of various exhibitors and it is comingout that many have backout at the last minute. Many are experiencing scares as Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 and young hero Sharwanand’s Shatamanam Bhavati completed censor earlier and even got good positive talk. Many are not coming forward to bet on Satakarni though the film is attracting the attention of movie lovers.

One should wait and watch whether the exhibitors fears are real or imaginary. Even the inexperience of the distributors are getting highlighted in Satakarni’s case. In the midst of all this Khaidi No 150 and Shatamanam Bhavati’s drives and prints are getting ready to be despatched well ahead of the planned premiers. This is in sharp contrast to Gautami Putra Satakarni which is yet to complete many formalities. These delays is giving tense moments not only to the filmmakers but also to the overseas distributor. One should wait and watch how they sort out the issue and make the most of it at the box office screening the premiers on time.
