Tempting Beauty Tisca Chopra stunned all with her silver screen temptation in her Bollywood debut film Platform starring Ajay Devgan. In 2007, she appeared in Taare Zameen Par with Aamir Khan where her performance was well received. She acted in Nandita Das’s directorial debut, Firaaq (2008). In 2011, she appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji. Chopra has been on the Jury of the MAMI film festival.
She later made her debut in Tollywood with Mogali Puvvu and then sizzled red-hot in Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s mass entertainer Bruce Lee. The film which marked the comeback of Mega Star Chiranjeevi in a special song however failed miserably. She later got the golden opportunity to sizzle opposite Power Star Pawan Kalyan in Sardar Gabbar Singh. The film which released amidst huge expectations bombed at the box office.
However Tisca Chopra couldn’t get over her Tollywood temptations and the delicious tastes of Hyderabad. Sharing her love for Hyderabad, she said “I come here pretty often. Both, for shoots and because I have family here. I am slowly getting more and more familiar with the city , one trip at a time.“
She added “I just absolutely love the rasam here,“ She said “That is one thing I definitely dig into every time I’m here. And somehow each time new varieties of rasam crop up and I get to try a new one. I’m not complaining!“
She says “is not working on anything as of now,“ but adds “In my experience of South cinema, the films are rather formulaic and stereotypical. Having said that, I am aware that some really good scripts emerging down South. And what better an example than Bahubali. I’m a huge fan of Rajamouli’s work. If I do get a good script with a character that intrigues me, I would certainly take it up.”
