Stars' Performance

Manoj built his psyche but he did not get much chance to show his heroism in the film. His role was a bit subdued. He made it up showing his well toned body in the intro song though it was out of sync with the story. Similar was the seond song. Though he put up reasonably matured performance compared to his earlier performances bringing in variety to his dialogues imitating his father Mohan Babu, he has to improve his expressions. He performed well in stunts and was ok in dances. Deeksha Seth's role is a complete waste but tried to attract viewers with her skin show. Sai Kumar as Bujji Naidu did well but his wig proved to be the minus point. Star attraction of the film is Natasimha Balakrishna who looked royal as usual and did full justice to the role. Sonu Sood as Phanindra Bhupati did well in the role that has shades of his role in 'Arundhati'. Manchu Lakshmi stunned and spellbound all as Amruthavalli. Comedy track on Dharmavarapu did not get required response from viewers.Others like Rishi, Bhanuchander, Prabhu, Ajay, Panchi Bora, Nilalgal Ravi, Suhasini, Raghu Babu, Abhinaya Sri did their roles as required.

Analysis

The film which is touted to be thriller has many loop holes in the script. Director Sekhar Raja showed his inexperience in dealing with the plot. The film lacks suspense elements and Bobo Sashi's music along with background score disappointed movie lovers.Natasimha Balakrishna's fans will surely be disappointed as there are no powerful dialogues. If the film makers included few of them, movie lovers would have thronged the film.

Technicals

Manchu Lakshmi's production values are of very high standards. Editing could have been better in the first half. Cinematography is the saving grace, as it beautified the entire film. Art direction is amazing and stunts scored over all other departments.Dialogues in the film sparked well sometimes but are off color otherwise.

 Final Word

Average film with some sparks from Balakrishna and Manchu Lakshmi.
