Anushka might have her hands full in Telugu, but that’s not stopping her from venturing into Kollywood. The latest news we hear about the actress, who is currently doing the multi-starrer Tamil project “Vaanam” a remake of Telugu super hit “Vedam,” is that she has been zeroed in for two big projects in Tamil. One of them is director Linguswamy’s next flick titled “Vettai” with Arya and Madhavan in lead roles. And, the other film is director Vijay’s upcoming film with Hero Vikram.
A source close to the actress confirmed the news, stating that, "Anushka will be part of the Vikram starrer. We have finalized the talks but she’s yet to officially sign on the dotted lined because she is shooting abroad."
Meanwhile, Anushka is also slotted to play the female lead in Linguswamy’s film “Vettai”, which will be an entertainer. A note from producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri recently stated that, "This would be one of our big productions. We have top technicians of Tamil cinema working on this movie and it is guaranteed to be a visual treat and definitely a very good entertainer."
