Music director Vijay Antony, “Mahathma” Telugu fame, is a happy soul. The composer has been receiving rave reviews for his latest film album, “Uthamaputhiran”, a remake of Telugu super hit “Ready” and needless to say, he is on cloud nine.
"Director Mithran R Jawahar has a good taste in music and that made my job easy. The songs have come out well, as planned. I have sung a number, ‘Ussumu Laresay…,’ in the film," he says.
The musician is quite excited about the film and believes that it will be a sure-shot hit with the audience. "Even before the re-recording sessions, I saw the film at least 60 times and every time I saw it, I was rolling with laughter. I’m sure Dhanush and Vivekh will bring the house down with their witty chemistry. It is going to be bigger than “Padikkathavan”, in which the duo worked its magic before. On the whole, it’s a great package," he adds. With Vijay Antony exuding such confidence, looks like “Uthamaputhiran” is one film that K-town fans can look forward.
