“Simha” Axe sold for 5 Lakhs

 Generally, everyone is eager to know about the articles and costumes used by their favourite actors in the movies. Tollywood is adapting Hollywood’s tradition regarding this issue. ‘Movie Artists Association’ (MAA) has sold Axe in auction which was used by Balakrishna in recent blockbuster “Simha”. Balakrishna fans, NRIs from New Jersey, Venkat Garikipati and Jithendar Atluri bought Balakrishna’s Axe for 5 Lakhs.
‘Movie Artists Association’ utilizes this money for the welfare of poor artists who are in need. Balakrishna and director of “Simha” movie, Boyapati Sreenu announced these details in a press meet held on Tuesday (October 5th). AVS, Siva Krishna, Sivaji raja, Paruchuri Prasad, Maharshi Raghava, Kabambari Kiran and others took part in the press meet.

Yesterday, Balakrishna announced in a press meet that his ‘Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Institute and Research Center’ is conducting “Breast Cancer Run” on October 10th to bring awareness among the people about how breast cancer affects women and how to take care of it. He also requested everyone related to Cinema industry to take part in “Breast cancer Run” on October 10th. He added that many women are dying every year because of breast cancer. He saw his mother suffering from severe pain. He wants no women to face such problems and he started Cancer Institute. For the past 10 years, ‘Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Institute and Research Center’ helped 35Crores for cancer patients and this institute also issued 125 beds for ‘Arogya sree’ health projects. He also said that October 18th is a “World Breast Cancer Day” and we have all the responsibility to bring the awareness on Breast Cancer.
