After sweeping across Indian cinema with his skill behind the camera, celebrated cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran is set to bag an international honour at the coveted Plus Camera image, an international film festival that celebrates the art of cinematography across the globe.
At this year’s edition of the festival, Karan Johar’s “My Name Is Khan”, which has cinematography by Ravi, has been selected for the main award competition. This festival will be held at Bydgoszcz in Poland between November 27th and December 4th. Ravi K. Chandran has worked with some of the most celebrated names in Indian cinema like Mani Ratnam, Aditya Chopra, Shankar, Rajiv Menon, Priyadarshan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali on projects like Ayudha Ezhuthu, Kandukondein Kandukondein, Black and even the recently released Anjaana Anjaani starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Currently, he is shooting for A.R.Murugadoss “7 Am Arivu” starring Suriya and Shruti Haasan and also Karan Johar’s Agnipath starring Hrithik Roshan.
