Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi seems to be heading towards the biggest disaster of All Time in Telugu Film Industry. The movie is looking at a minimum of 50% losses which means the movie may at most collect 60 Crore Share Worldwide in its full run. Agnyaathavaasi is a perfect case where the team has taken the buyers granted. The makers have not done a minimum amount of publicity to help the movie at the box office. Even after the disastrous talk, neither Pawan Kalyan nor Trivikram came forward to give a single interview for the media. At the same time, the team of Jai Simha is aggressively promoting the film across all the media on the festive eve.
Sources close to Pawan Kalyan tells us that the hero is not interested in interviews because he may face the uncomfortable questions about Kathi Mahesh and Poonam Kaur. That will mean the buyers will be left to the mercy of Sankranthi holidays advantage now to recover their investment. The biggest sufferers will be the distributors of Nizam and Ceeded as they have released the film on their own. In Andhra, distributors have eased themselves a bit by giving hires.
The movie had registered the Pre-Release Business of 160 Crore with theatrical business only accounting for 125 Crore. A lot of money is at stake from here and the movie has to recover 125 Crore Share Worldwide to emerge as a Hit. Anything below 100 Crore Share is considered as a flop venture.
