Mega Hero Allu Sirish’s last film, Okka Kshanam has got a good talk right after its release but then it did not convert into collections for some reason. The movie’s theatrical rights were valued at 10 Crore and the movie has resulted in more than 65% losses. The losses would have been even more if not the films’ good performance in Overseas. The actor has taken a brief break and has now announced his new project.
His next film is titled ‘ABCD – American Born Confused Desi’. It is the remake of a Superhit Malayalam film. A newcomer Sanjeev Reddy is wielding the megaphone for this movie which will be produced by Madhura Sreedhar. Allu Sirish will be seen as a spoilt, rich kid who leads an indulgent life. He is so caught up in his cocoon and does not know what is happening in the World until he shifts to India and starts living a normal life.
Allu Sirish despite having few average commercial entertainers is yet to settle in the Telugu Film Industry. And so the failure of Okka Kshanam came as a rude shock to him. The actor even forayed into Malayalam Film Industry the last year but the movie also ended up as a big disappointment for him. So the actor has pinned high hopes on ABCD for the first break of his career.
