Bollywood star Amrita Rao who starred in Prince Mahesh Babu’s Athidi escaped from a major train accident on wednesday morning. Amrita recieved shock of her life while shooting for her Bollywood film along with Sunny Deol for a train sequence at Habibgunj Station,Bhopal.
According to insiders she was shooting for a scene along with Jhonny Lever, Sanjay Mishra when the train they were travelling derailed. A unit member adds “Amrita was most shaken up,” . He adds , “The train was moving at quite a fast speed. So when it derailed, everyone in the compartment got jolted. Thankfully, none of them suffered any injury.” .
Macho hero Sunny Deol was not present in the train as he was going to embark at the station, for the later scenes. As a result of the mishap, the shoot was delayed by a couple of hours as the team, led by director Anil Sharma, moved into another train. According to insider “Sunny didn’t want the day’s shoot to be cancelled. The railway authorities also cooperated, so we didn’t lose the day.”
Film makers this time did not take any chance as they completed the shooting with a stationary train with green signal on. In the post production the shoot willbe turned to train in motion.
