Young Tamil hero, Jai is well known to Telugu audience with super hit film ‘Journey’, later on, some of his Tamil films were dubbed into Telugu but failed to create the magic of ‘Journey’. Jai is also familiar as a boyfriend of Andhra beauty Anjali.
Jai who is known for soft character and decent attitude is in news for wrong reasons in recent times. It is known that a week back Jai rammed his Audi into the railing of the Adyar Bridge in Chennai. Jai was reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol even the mishap occurred. Jai was booked under Sections 185 (driving by a drunken person or by a person under the influence of drugs) of the Motor Vehicles Act and 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) of the Indian Penal Code.
Jai was summoned to appear in front of the magistrate 3 days back. But when he failed to visit the court, the judge issued a non-bailable warrant. Yesterday, Jai appeared at Saidapet court and Magistrate Abraham sentenced him to a fine of Rs.5200 and ordered that his driving license was suspended for six months. Jai’s license has been suspended for six months after the cops found out that the actor was also booked in 2014 when his vehicle rammed a divider near a movie theatre in Chennai. Reportedly Jai had lost his driving license and now he can only apply after 6 months.
On the work front, he is currently busy with three Tamil films which are the undershooting stage. His upcoming much hyped bilingual film ‘Balloon’ is all set for grand release on October, 28th.
