Arun Vijay who is all set to make his debut in Tollywood as a villain in Ram Charan’s upcoming entertainer under Srinu Vytla’s direction spoke about why he signed a villain role and his experience on shooting with Ram Charan.
Arun Vijay who attracted in negative character in Ajith-Gautam Menon’s ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ says, “As I had said, earlier, I would take up villainous characters only if they’re a notch above Victor in YA, and this offer from Srinu Vytla is that. The lead hero is Ram Charan Teja and I am playing a role with grey shades. When I heard the script, I felt it was the right launch pad for me in T’town and I should not miss the opportunity.”
On his role he says, “I play a multimillionaire and I am given a certain look in the yet-to-be-titled movie. Having completed one schedule in Hyderabad, I can say it was an awesome experience sharing the screen with Ram Charan,” He adds “It is a different kind of a genre and I don’t think I have a heroine”.
On managing Telugu, he says, “Language is not a barrier. I am quite familiar with Telugu. My dad speaks Telugu, so I was picking up my lines easily. I will be dubbing my own voice for the movie.”
