SS Rajamouli’s Magnum Opus film, ‘Baahubali-2’ is moving towards the closure of its run in the existing markets. The movie, however, is still drawing some decent amount in multiplexes in major cities. The Hindi dubbed version of ‘Baahubali-2’ has now collected Rs 500 Crore The movie has reached this milestone on Tuesday and has emerged as the all-time number movie in Bollywood in the Indian market. This is the first Indian film to have collected Rs 500 Crore in any Indian language in the domestic market. The movie is inching towards the 200 Crore Share in Andhra Pradesh and Nizam. It will be a phenomenal achievement if it gets there. Nikhil’s ‘Keshava’ and Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Rarandoy Veduka Choodham’ are the only competitors at the box- office.
Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ recently took over the Top Spot from ‘Baahubali-2’ in terms of Worldwide Gross with a stupendous performance in China. Fans are looking at the movie’s performance in China and other international markets to reach the Rs.2000 Crore Gross mark and reclaim the Top Spot from ‘Dangal’. It is still phenomenal even if the movie does not reach there. Being the Second Best is nothing less for a movie coming from the Regional Cinema.
