Allu Sirish’s last film, Okka Kshanam has resulted in more than 60% loss. The actor after a brief break is coming back with a movie titled ‘ABCD – American Born Confused Desi.’ The film was first announced for February release, and there have been three postponements since then. The last information is that the movie will not release on April 12th as planned earlier and will see the light sometime in May as Summer Special. Mega fans are worried that this delay may impact the audience interest in the film.
Rukshar Dhillion who recently made her debut with Nani’s Krishnarjuna Yuddham is romancing Allu Sirish in this film. ABCD is the remake of a Superhit Malayalam film of Dulquer Salman which released way back in 2013. Martin Prakkat directed the original version of ABCD. Made on a budget of 4.5 crores, the movie collected a whopping 12.5 crore at the box office. Allu Sirish will be seen as a spoilt, rich kid who leads an indulgent life. He is so caught up in his cocoon and does not know what is happening in the World until he shifts to India and starts living a normal life.
