Rajamouli’s Baahubali starring Prabhas, Rana, Tamanna, Anushka is entertaining movie lovers. Irrespective of negative and positive reviews, film is spell bounding all. However theatre owners bore the brunt of angry fans just for screening the film and they couldn’t provide tickets.

Many theatres witnessed stampedes and fans attacked theatres damaging the properties. Fans are furious that tickets are sold in black and benefit shows are priced at Rs.2-5k. Some disappointed fans resorted to even extreme measures.
A fan from Vemulavada, poured kerosene on him as he couldn’t get the ticket and another fan in Sirisila jumped from the theatre. Fans turned furious when screening was stopped in Harikrishna theatre in Podili, Prakasam Dt. Fans damaged everything for 20 minutes.
Rajamundry Ashoka theatre too witnessed same scenes. Another fan sacrificed a sheep for the film success. In Visakhapatnam a theatre was attacked for not screening ‘Baahubali’. In Vijayalakshmi theatre, LB.nagar, Hyderabad fans attacked alleging sale of black tickets.
Even after so many incidents ‘Baahubali’ team did not respond shying away from social responsibility. Atleast the team should show some concern for fans who got injured and theatre owners who suffered losses to their properties.
