Biggies opposing Tolllywood bandh

We had already reported that Telugu Film Chamber of commerce has decided not to release any new movie starting from March, 1st, 2018, to counter the monopoly of the existing Digital Service Providers. Already South Indian Film chamber of commerce also supported the decision against digital providers. Now giving sock to all, few big producers are opposing on shootings bandh because of their releases.

Going into the deep Digital Service Providers like Qube and UFO which belong to top producers are occupying 80% of theatres in both states. Now they both got merged and are opposing the strike. Anyhow it will be decided finally on 31st, Jan,18 EC meeting of Telugu film chamber of commerce.

If the strike really happens, then it will impact the plans of stars who have pinned high hopes on summer holidays to make it big at the box-office. Ram Charan’s ‘Rangasthalam’, Allu Arjun’s ‘Naa Peru Surya’ – Naa Illu India, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’, and South Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ may be affected if the problem is not resolved soon. Stay tuned for this space for more interesting updates.
