CBFC hosts centenary festival

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) is planning to host a three day festival in Mumbai as part of completion of 100 years of Indian Cinema and also showcasing all the censor cuts they have made to Indian films. The decision was taken recently in the board meeting and to tell the audience how the process of certifying of a movie has undergone in the past six decades. The board wants to convey the audiences how the amendments were taken place on kissing scenes from 40s to present day. The people will get awareness why the censor board cuts the scenes in the movies.
