Changes to Sarkar After Second Time Censor

The controversy of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar is blowing out of proportions. It is known to our readers that the ruling AIADMK Party in Tamil Nadu is serious on the filmmakers for allegedly insulting their welfare schemes. High Tension prevailed in Chennai the other day and there are rumours that the Police may arrest the film’s director, AR Murugadoss. AIADMK cadre protested before the film theaters across the state. Murugadoss today sought anticipatory bail to prevent an arrest even as the Police Department confirmed that they are not planning to arrest the director but only increase the security cover to him in the wake of this controversy.

Amid this ruckus, the filmmakers have decided to voluntarily edit out the objectionable portions from the film. They voluntarily deleted a visual from the film and audio is muted at three places. The edited film was censored once again and the changes are already made to the film in the theaters. This controversy has given the much-needed publicity for the film and the collections are also increasing. The movie which is otherwise a flop may get benefitted due to this controversy.
