Chiranjeevi inaugurates Goa Carnival

Mega star turned politician and Union Minister for Tourism K.Chiranjeevi would inaugurate five day carnival festival to be held in Goa from February 9th onwards. According to Dilip Parulekar state Minister for Tourism said Chiranjeevi will open the float parade in Panaji on the first day of the festival. The carnival parade is an annual feature for the traditional festivities organised across five cities in the state each day. Thousands of local and tourists witness these parades which spearheaded by a float of king Momo a mythological figure who rules the state for three days. The carnival festival was brought by Portuguese and now it has become part of Goa. During the festival sea food festival will be organised and also invited various states to participate in the festival.
