Vijay Devarakonda’s Arjun Reddy has breached the 25 Crore Share Mark Worldwide. The movie has become a rage with the youth and it has brought 400-500% Profits to everyone involved in its trade in Telugu. This has ensured that Bollywood Producers are after the remake rights of the film. Usually, remake rights are procured for an amount ranging from 2 to 5 crore. But then due to the intense competition, Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani shelled out a cool 7 crore to the producer for the Hindi version.
Set to go on floors in July, the adaptation will be helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who weaved magic with the Telugu original as well. The script was being tailored to suit the sensibilities of the Hindi audience. The makers are planning to rope in a fresh face opposite Shahid Kapoor who will reprise the role of Vijay Deverakonda from the Original. The auditions are currently going on. The film marks Sandeep Vanga’s Bollywood debut and he already got a commitment from Superstar Mahesh Babu to do a film with him sometime in 2019. This is quite an achievement for the young director who is just one film old in the Telugu Film Industry.
