Controversial biopic On Cards

Movies on the real life of celebrities, biopics have become the latest trend in Tollywood. After acquiring huge success with Mahanati Savitri biopic, now some more biopics are getting ready. Many films makers are showing the keen interest in making biopics. It is known that Films based on the lives of NTR, YSR, and Pullela Gopichand have already been announced and all set to kick starts regular shoot soon.

Now, the latest news is that one more interesting and controversial biopic on cards. According to reports, Vishnu Vardhan Induri who owns Production Company called Vibri Media which is co-producing NTR’s biopic and 83 the biopic on Kapil Dev which is based on 83’s Cricket World Cup is planning yet another interesting biopic.

In a recent interaction with media, Vishnu Vardhan Induri revealed that they are planning to make a biopic on the actor turned politician and former CM of Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha. Vishnu has further added that he is currently working on the script for the film and is eagerly waiting to make an official announcement which will bankroll by Vibri Media.

Vishnu Vardhan Induri shared, ‘We have been working on multiple stories based on real people and incidents. But it’s too early to discuss a Jayalalithaa biopic. It takes time for an idea to become a reality. It took us six years to make a film based on the 1983 World Cup, and it took us three years to make the NTR biopic a reality’

He added, ‘We have been involved in TV production for the past 15 years, with a focus on events. Now, we want to develop as a content company. We would like to tell real stories that can inspire this generation.’

Makers are planning to make Jayalalitha’s biopic in Tamil and Telugu. Currently, they are working on scripts and trying to clear other political hitches before the announcement. Watch this space for more updates.
