There is no stopping in the number of Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh. The state has recorded 54 new cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 1,887. A whopping 16 of these cases are from Anantapur district alone, and another 11 from Vishakapatnam. The worrying thing is that the cases used to be high in Kurnool, Guntur, and Krishna, and now other districts are registering more cases. The Top Two districts are Kurnool with 547 cases, and Guntur with 374 cases.
Krishna, with 322 cases, is also alarming. These three districts form around 66% of the total cases in Andhra Pradesh. With Vizianagaram also recording cases in the last couple of days, there are no districts without any cases. With 41 deceased and 842 discharged, there are 1,004 active cases. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of cases in the country are 56,342.
