Dammu showcasing the power of Young Tiger NTR celebrated its audio launch. Expectations are soaring among fans of NTR with Boyapati Srinu who knows the pulse of masses directing the film. Manisharma composed tunes for the film and let us guage the impact it generated on music lovers.
Song: Oh Lilly
Singers: Baba Sehgal
Lyrics : Chandrabose
Baba Sehgal is popular for these fast beat masala numbers and Keeravani’s music is in competition with Sehgal’s voice. Out and out mass number to start with. Nothing much to say about Chandrabose’s lyrics as they don’t make any sense and makes one wonder what happened to Chandrabose’s talent. Mass beat don’t care for all of them and one can enjoy the beat.
Song: Ruler (CD and Movie version)
Singers: Prudhvi Chandra, Geetha Madhuri, Revanth, Sahiti
The song starts off with rap music and the tempo picks up speed. Keeravani’s music makes an impact on the listener with Geeta Maduri’s voice doing complete justice to the tune. The song starts with names of various kingdoms and if one remembers ‘Maha Rudra Shakti’ from ‘Shakti’ movie, then it is not their fault. The song has all the ingredients of becoming hit song of the film if canned perfectly.
Song: Raja Vasireddy
Singers: M.M.Keeravani, Krishna Chaitanya
A situational song and listening to lyrics one feel villagers are celebrating the comeback of their hero. Singers did well in the song. Song starts off with ‘Raju Vachinadu’ and then goes to the beat of nuvu whistle este.. Keeravani looked a confused lot whether to make it a classical or mass number and in the end went for the mass beats.
Song: Vastu Bagunde
Singers: Rahul Sipligunj, Sravana Bhargavi
Keeravani’s went for full sound and music for the song in which NTR will twist and twirl with four beautiful heroines. Fans can expect lot of masala in the song.
Singers: Rahul Sipligunj, Sravana Bhargavi, Shivani
This is title track of the album and Boyapati kept it simple. Words dammu and sommu doesn’t make any sense but let us wait to watch it on screen. Brings back memories of Keeravani’s earlier tracks in ‘Lahiri Lahiri’ and ‘Seeta Rama Raju’. Seems Sivani was not at all interested in the song. Rahul bought in all his energy to the number along with Sravana Bhargavi.
Power packed music perfectly suited for a mass entertainer. This may entertain NTR fans along with mass viewers but surely shocks Keeravani music lovers who expect melodies from him.
