Four Small Movies have released today at Telugu Box Office – Ram Gopal Varma’s Vangaveeti, Comedian Saptagiri’s first film as hero – Saptagiri Express, Vishal’s Okkadochaadu and Suresh Babu supported Pittagoda. Since that there are no notable releases for the movie, the movie has got a good release and also good visibility among the audience. Vangaveeti is off to a terrific start at the box office and the movie has recorded houseful collections in most theaters in Coastal Belt where there is a lot of curiosity about the film on Kamma Kapu feud.
On the other side, Saptagiri Express opened to decent openings while Vishal’s dubbing movie, Okkadochaadu has recorded below par openings. Pittagoda is outright failure with no proper talk or openings. Except for Vangaveeti and Saptagiri Express to some extent, it’s a disappointing outing for Telugu movies. On the other side, Aamir Khan’s Dangal leads the race at Hyderabad Box Office. The movie is off to a smashing start here as the multiplexes are crowded even on the working days.
The next week will be the New Year Eve weekend and there are no notable releases as well. Allari Naresh’s Intlo Deyyam Naakem Bhayam, Nara Rohit’s Appatlo Okadundevadu and Lakshmi Manchu’s Lakshmi Bomb are releasing next week. It will be advantage once again for Dangal and it will be a minor advantage to Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Dhruva which will be in the fourth week of its release. The vacuum at the Telugu box office will continue until Sankranthi. It is confirmed that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Prestigious 150th film, Khaidi No 150 and Balakrishna’s Landmark 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni will be locking horns at the box office for Sankranthi. As of now, the release dates are not confirmed. Sharwanand’s Shatamanam Bhavati backed by Dil Raju will also try its luck for Sankranthi.
