Dangal Tsunami at Overseas Box Office

Bollywood’s Mr.Perectionist Amir Khan’s recent release ‘Dangal’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari is showing its power at the box-office in overseas. Amir Khan who risked working hard to get the physique of a wrestler in the film which is a bipic on wrestler Mahavir Phogat who trained his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to win medals in wrestling is mesmerising all with his performance.

Critics and movie lovers who are stunned with Amir Khan’s performance gave 4 plus rating to the film. All of them are unanimous that Amir should get Oscars for his performance. It is known that Amir Khan earlier lost out narrowly the prestigious Oscars when his film ‘Lagaan’ after making the final cut, didnt find favours with the jury. Film is getting stunning response across all theatres in USA. It is getting highest collections and in one of the theatres in California, Cine Grand is screening 114 shows in 4 days.

Dangal stars Aamir Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. The former is India’s first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55 kg). Her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (51 kg).
