Deepika Padukone who walked out of ‘Race-2’ project to fulfill her commitments with Superstar Rajanikanth’s prestigious ‘Kochadiyan’ project faced severe criticism from the film maker Ramesh Taurani who blasted her for being unprofessional. Deepika’s hard convincing didnot workout as he went ahead and lodged a complaint against her with CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes’ Association). Intense parleys started between both of them and Deepika realising that the damages she had to pay for walking out of ‘Race-2’ would be huge and out of her reach, she is bracing for re-entry into ‘Race-2’ by setting her own terms and conditions.
Sources inform though the official CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes’ Association) meeting was called off 30 minutes before its scheduled time on Wednesday, the actress did end up meeting CINTAA general secretary Dharmesh Tiwari. According to a source present at the meeting, it was Tiwari who asked Deepika to stay away from monetary hassles and allot dates to Taurani.Deepika set 5 conditions to act in the film, passing the baton to the film makers of ‘Race-2’.Her conditions include no change in dates,one to one communication with the film makers,no interference in her personal care,her right to decide the film’s release date,prior information on overseas shoot. Final decision is awaited but many feel in 48hrs the whole incident will have happy ending.
