Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ has completed its run in Telugu and the movie is disappointing to the trade. The movie has to collect Rs.80 Crore Share from the Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film. But Telugu version could not even reach the Rs.70 Crore Share mark. Fans have pinned all their hopes on the Malayalam version of the film to attain the break even mark.
The movie is releasing tomorrow in Kerala as ‘Dhruvaraja Jagannath’. The movie which was supposed to release in August but was postponed due to Censor issue. Allu Arjun is likely to promote the film for a day or two in Kerala towards the end of this weekend.
But then collecting more than Rs.10 Crore Share from a small industry like Malayalam film industry is a too big ask. Allu Arjun has a significant market in Kerala but even then, it is going to be a very tough ask given that Kerala is a small market. Allu Arjun is currently preparing for his next film, ‘Naa Peru Surya’ – Naa Illu India. The regular shooting of the movie directed by Vakkantham Vamsi began recently. The Stylish Star Plays an Army Officer in the movie.
