Director Krish created a sensation last yer when his film Kanche won the best film award for Telugu at national level. His next film, Gautamiputra Satakarni is gearing up for release tomorrow as Sankranthi Special. The movie is first ever film on Satavahana Empire that flourished in both the Telugu States. Needless to say there is a tremendous excitement and hype on the movie in trade and normal audience.
The entire team is busy promoting the movie. In one of the interviews, Krish revealed about his future projects. The director revealed that he has a commitment of a Bollywood film with Akshay Kumar and will also be directing Victory Venkatesh’s 75th project. And then there are rumours that Krish may do a sequel for Gautamiputra Satakarni. So, the lineup looks interesting for Krish as of now.
On the other side, Gautamiputra Satakarni will clash with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Prestigious 150th film, Khaidi No 150 which released today and Sharwanand’s Shatamanam Bhavati which will release on Saturday. Y. Rajiv Reddy and Jagarlamudi Sai Babu are producing the film on First Frame Entertainment Pvt Ltd Banner. Krish roped in Chirantan Bhatt to score music for the film. He previously composed music for Krish’s Kanche and Bollywood venture, Gabbar is Back. Timeless Beauty Shriya Saran is playing the female lead in this film and this is her second time with Balakrishna after Chenna Keshava Reddy several years ago. Bollywood actor, Kabir Bedi, and veteran actress Hema Malini will be seen in important roles in this prestigious film.
The Theatrical Trailer of the movie increased the hype on the film. Everyone was surprised about the quality of the trailer and wondered how director Krish managed it in around 80 working days. Even Rajamouli who is a master of doing such films could not resist appreciating Krish for that achievement. We tweeted about that and even appreciated Krish personally on phone.
