Due to the strike called by the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) post production works of so many films has been stalled. As the talks with Tamil producer’s council didn’t yield any result the matter has gone into the hands of the Competition Commission.
FEFSI’s primary demand is that the producers’ council should recall its statement that it need not work exclusively with the FEFSI. Earlier, Mr. Selvamani said that FEFSI has agreed to 40% of their demands.
Whatever it may be after a couple of days of strike FEFSI president RK Selvamani called off the Strike and told the media that all the association’s members will report to work from today. “Actor Rajinikanth has urged us to set aside our egos. We will participate without placing any preconditions. We have only one condition: don’t divide us,” appealed Mr. Selvamani.
