Film industry resembles the game of snakes and ladders and while success gives overnight stardom, one flop will turn them into paupers. People cannot understand film industry as everyone aspires to have hits but only one in the million get it. Everyone knows what happened to Srikanth Addala who won Nandi award with ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ after the flop of ‘Brahmostavam’.

There are many who fall in this category. Bhaskar became man with the golden megaphone with the sensation of ‘Bommarillu’ and ‘Parugu’. However after ‘Orange’ no one bothered. Lady luck deserted him even with ‘Ongole Gitta’ and ‘Bangalore Natkal’ and no one knows what he is doing at present.

However Vasu Varma, who got golden chance to introduce Naga Chaitanya, failed with his film ‘Josh’. He angered Nagarjuna who generally do not bother about hits and flops. Dil Raju showed faith in Vasu Varma and gave him chance to direct Sunil’s ‘Krishnashtami’. The film failed miserably.

Srivaas who is ok with ‘Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda’, later scored hit with ‘Loukyam’ and he got golden chance to direct Balakrishna in ‘Dictator’. However the film turned out to be huge flop. Their plight is a good lesson and learning curve for the aspiring directors.
