Superstar Rajini’s career isn’t going great guns as most of his films in the past few years have under-performed including his latest outing Darbar. On top of it now reports are coming that a case has been filed against Rajinikanth for his hate inducing speech.
Recently Rajinikanth during an event in Chennai said that the idols of Lord Ram and Sita were paraded in an offensive way in the year 1971 by Periyar at Salem. A case has been filed against the actor by the president of Dravidar Viduthalai Kazhagam for making false accusations on Periyar and inducing communal violence.
The president is demanding a public apology from the Superstar. An FIR has been filed under Section 153 and Section 505 of IPC The party has requested the commissioner of police to initiate action against him.
We will have to wait and see how will Rajini react on this matter.
