Video Rights Owners Having Field Day On Prime

Flop Movies Getting Huge Viewership on Prime and Hotstar

Many of the video-streaming rights’ owners who stream their movies on YouTube are having a field day these days due to coronavirus.

These owners, when they stream the movies on YouTube, are not able to generate enough income as the high profile ads are opting for other streaming platforms. So these owners have started sharing their movies on digital platforms like Amazon Prime and Hotstar and are able to generate as much as thrice the income they used to generate. Even low-profile and flop movies are getting huge viewership on these digital platforms as people are mostly idle sitting at home due to coronavirus lockdown.

We can say that Coronavirus has turned out to be a boon for at least some in the industry.
