Four Films Fighting It Out This Weekend

One more week will be without any star films at the box office. Four small films are releasing this weekend at the Telugu Box Office. Raj Tharun’s Lover, Chandra Siddharth’s Aatagadharaa Siva, Lakshmi Manchu’s Wife of Ram and another small movie, Parichayam are fighting it out at the box office this weekend. Raj Tharun who is met with back to back flops in the recent times has pinned hopes on Dil Raju’s Production, Lover directed by Ala Ela fame Anish Krishna. It is the love story of a Bike Customizer from Andhra and Nurse from Kerala.

Chandra Siddharth’s ‘Aatagadharaaa Siva’ is the remake of a Kannada hit ‘Rama Rama Re’. Wife of Ram’ is a thriller that is produced by Manchu Lakshmi. The trailer resembled Bollywood’s Blockbuster film, Kahaani starring Vidya Balan. Parichayam has got decent trailers and is the film with the least expectations among all the films releasing. The director took a dig at the recently released Blockbuster, RX 100 saying that his film doesn’t have scenes of heroine lifting hero’s shirt or kiss scenes. It has to be seen which of these films will have the last say at the box office. But then, it will be an advantage to RX 100 with no star film.
