Gunde jaari Gallanthayyinde movie review

Movie:           Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde

Rating:          3.25/5

Director:       Vikay Kumar Konda

Behind the screens

Nithin and Nithya Menon are coming together to recreate ‘Ishq’ magic once again on silver screen in the direction of Vijay Kumar Konda. Anup Rubens music already captured the imagination of gene ‘x’ movie lovers and let us see what impact the film makes on viewers.

Story Line

A young affable guy Karthik (Nithin), a software engineer works in India while his parents are in US. Karthik who believes strongly in love at first sight falls for beautiful Shruthi (Isha Talwar) during his friend Pandu (Ali) wedding party and gets her number. While he starts interacting with her daily but never knew that he was actually calling Shravani (Nitya Menon) daughter of business tycoon, who is in search of a guy who care for her without bothering about status, wealth or beauty. Now where this triangular love story leads to, should be enjoyed on silver screen.

Star Shine

Nithin out and out did himself in the role and impresses all with his superlative performance. He has full of energy and looked hot as love guru. His selection of attire or dances or his matinee idol Pawan Kalyan re-mix songs came out perfectly and is a treat to watch. Nithya Menon exhibited her natural acting talent once again. Her expressions make everyone fall for her while Isha Talwar is beautiful. Others like Thagubothu Ramesh, Ali, Raghu Babu did their roles accordingly.

Director Vijay Kumar seems to have read the pulse of gene ‘x’ viewers as he prepared a neat comedy and proved that one need not include ‘Adulterated scenes to score a hit. The triangular romantic track and the comedy scenes along with the remix song of Paawn Kalyan or ‘Khushi’ scene are shot very well. Nithin’s remix dance will be enjoyed by one and all and to the top of it Jwala Gutta’s special number is a treat to watch though she couldn’t impress with her dancing moves.

Director scored marks with his screen-play and storyline and Anup Rubens music has been added advantage. However film loses some steam in the second half and it also have some logical loop holes. Both those things can be ignored in the entertainment treat, he offered. Director on debut showed his talent and he will be the star director in the industry in the coming days.

Production values are good. Anoop Rubens music is good to hear while editing is near perfect. Cinematography of Andrew is beautiful. Choreography and dialogues are good. Credit to director for pulling all strings together.
