Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Jai Simha is the Sankranthi Winner this year in terms of Return on Investment. The movie made the perfect use of Sankranthi Festival holidays and has registered over 22 Crore Share in its six days run so far. The movie run is particularly good in the B and C centers in Andhra Pradesh and Nizam where there is a cult following for the actor. The Real Test for the movie will begin from today as the holidays are over and the working days begin.
Jai Simha had registered the Pre-Release Business of 38.5 Crore including all for the producers. The movie’s theatrical rights were valued at 27 Crore and the movie is likely to breach the break-even mark by the end of the coming weekend. Given that there are no releases until Republic Day Weekend, the movie will have an extended run at the box office. With Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi getting outright disaster talk and Suriya’s dubbing movie, Gang being an ‘A class’ film, Jai Simha is the only option for the masses. However, the movie had registered big losses in Overseas. Jai Simha success has got cheer to Balayya fans since the actor’s last film, Paisa Vasool ended up as a big failure at the box office.
