Yesterday, Super Star Rajinikanth family received big shock!!! Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiyaan’ directed his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth was released in 2014 amidst huge expectations. But the film miserably failed at box office throwing distributors and producers into huge losses.
This film ‘Kochadaiyaan’ result and liabilities still haunting entire Rajinikanth’s family. It is known that Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth went into legal troubles where Mediaone Global Entertainment a company for which Latha Rajinikanth is director owes loan to popular Ad agency regarding ‘Kochadaiyaan’ post-production works. The firm had reportedly sought a loan of Rs.10 crore during post-production works from a company called Ad Bureau.
An Ad Bureau Advertising filed a case against Latha alleging that she produced fake documents in the court to defraud and illegally sell the rights of Kochadaiyan to an entertaining company. Latha earlier denied being a guarantor for any loan alleged by the firm. Latha had procured Rs 10 crore as an amount from them promising rights of her husband’s film, but the rights were instead were given to Eros International.
However later on Ad Bureau claim that Media One Global Entertainment owed R.6.2 crores in dues and that the rights of the film were sold illegally by producing fake documents in the court, the issue was brought up the supreme court.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave a shocking verdict, it ordered Mediaone Global Entertainment owned by Latha Rajinikanth, 12 weeks time to repay Rs 6.2 crore it owes a movie distribution Ad Bureau. A Bench led by Justice Ranjan Gogoi passed the order while hearing an appeal filed by distribution company Ad Bureau Advertising Private Limited against an order passed by the Karnataka High Court on March 10, 2016, quashing criminal proceedings pending before a Magistrate court in Bengaluru. This news acquired huge attention among Tamil Nadu in the plunge of Rajinikanth’s political journey which will kick start soon.
