First Half Report: The film is just about okay in the first half. There are some thrilling scenes but there are many boring moments which drags the screenplay. NTR, Lakshmi Parvathi, CBN characterizations are all good but there is a lag in the narration. BGM dominates the proceedings. Balakrishna’s character generated many laughs due to RGV’s satirical portrayal. Let’s hope the second half turns out to be more satisfying.

6:45 AM IST: After losing power NTR goes into depression which ultimately leads to his death and the film comes to an end.

Final Report: RGV has succeeded to some extent in making what he wanted to make. It is his best movie after a series of utter disasters in the recent past. He has come up with a new age love story using the characters of NTR and Lakshmi Parvathi. The movie is a decent one with interesting characterizations and situations. The first half is mostly dull with over the top sentiment and emotion but the second half packs a punch. The editing could have been better to avoid boring moments and also the BGM. The film drags at many points but some interesting scenes make up for it. Lakshmi Parvathi has been shown in a very positive light. Chandrababu Naidu is shown in the most derogatory way which is sure to offend TDP fans. But for anti-fans, it’s a treat. Must say, RGV has taken revenge on CBN in the best possible way and this movie might hurt TDP a bit in the upcoming elections. Overall it’s a one time watch. We have to wait and see how the common audience responds to the movie. Live Review Rating: 2.5/5
