Mahesh Babu Interview

Superstar Mahesh Babu has interacted with the media a little while ago on the occasion of the release of his Bharat Ane Nenu this Friday. The actor is super confident about the film and here are the excerpts from his exclusive interview:
How was your holiday?
Usually, I goto a holiday after a movie release but this time I am very happy and confident so went before the release. Shooting for the film is the best time I had and there are blockbuster vibes already. Very happy and looking forward.
How is it trying a Political Subject?
It is true I am initially skeptical but I am excited when I heard the script. I felt it is a responsibility and honor to play the role of a Chief Minister. I learned so much from the role and this film. But still, I am apolitical but learned many interesting things about politics.
How is the preparation for the role?
I did not put in much efforts. There is no special preparation. The whole credit goes to Koratala Siva who did so much of effort on the script and dialogues. Some dialogues are lengthy and I felt them a bit difficult. I observed some videos of my Brother-in-law, Jay Galla’s videos in the parliament.
Exciting Moments During the Film Shoot?
There are positive vibes right from the first day. When I first heard the theme song, I was very excited. The Assembly set is sensational. We shot for seven days in the set and the shoot almost happened like a real Assembly session.
Any Political Satires?
There is nothing like that. I am pretty sure every politician will see the film and will appreciate us. You will be surprised after you watch as there are no controversies. This is a clean political drama.
Did you get any interest in Politics after watching the film?
No, I am always apolitical and will dedicate my entire life for films. I know all the responsibilities as a citizen during this one and half year travel with Bharat Ane Nenu. There is a strong message in the film and you will know after watching the movie.
Commercial Elements in the film?
Koratala Siva’s films are never devoid of commercial elements even though they have an inherent message. You will know how they are embedded once you watch the film.
How confident are you about the film?
I am never confident on a film before the movie release. We shot enough scenes to make a two parts film. Many exciting scenes had to be removed as a result.
How do you feel about the life of politicians?
After doing the film, I understand that it is not a joke. It comes with a great responsibility. It is all about how they execute the promises given and adhering to them even in difficult times.
Will you campaign for any political party in 2019?
No, I will not. I will be in some Abroad holiday for the summer holidays in 2019.
Movie Releasing on Chandrababu Naidu’s Birthday?
It is even good then. April 20th is the Birthday of my mother Indira. What can be a better day for my movie release?
Controversies on his next project, Mahesh25?
I think all of them were solved and we are ready to shoot from June 7th.
About NTR coming to the movie function?
We are always open to multi-starers. Everyone is trying to do films together. We all felt to bring a star hero to the function. We are happy to change the trend. I have to thank NTR for coming.
Influence of your father on films?
Certainly, there will be some influence. Some thought my voice of the oath resembled my father. Somewhere in the subconscious, there is his influence and I am very happy. There is an influence of his films like Alluri Sita Ramaraju and Eenadu.
About other Technicians?
I should thank Ravi K Chandran and Thiru for outstanding visuals. My Art Director Suresh deserves a special mention for the spectacular Assembly set. Devi Sri Prasad has given my career-best audio album. VFX Department Yugandhar also needs a special mention.
Who is the best Chief Minister of AP, according to you?
No Controversies Please. Telling one name will offend others.
Are you still open for Experiments?
I am tired of doing experiments. My father’s fans may come and even thrash me if I do. I will continue to do commercial films.
Your Next Projects?

I have a project lined up with Vamshi Paidipalli. Projects with Sukumar, Sandeep Vanga, and Trivikram are under discussion. Once I liked the script, I will confirm which is the next.
