SV Krishna Reddy, in 2004 made a flop film called ‘Athade Oka Sainyam’ starring Jagapathi Babu, Neha, and other comedians. The film dealt with the story of a son whose father who is a bank manager is wrongly accused as a fraud and who later commits suicide after the bank owner flees with crores of money. The son takes revenge on all the people responsible for that scam and brings back the looted money.
Mahesh recently got a narration from the ‘Geetha Govindam’ director Parasuram and the superstar is mighty impressed with the script. Apparently, the story revolves around a young man whose Mother, a bank employee, pays the price after the villain dupes banks and flees to a foreign country. Rest of the story is about how the hero brings back the money to the country and saves his mother’s honor. As of now, it seems to be an exact replica of SV Krishna Reddy’s movie. The sources claim, Parasuram got inspired by the scams done by Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi. Mahesh might be thinking this might be another film where he can be a national hero like in Maharshi and Srimanthudu which his fans will like. This film might go on floors after Mahesh finishes the Anil Ravipudi entertainer.
